The Dot Time Records label recently released "The Great Lost Gods And Monsters", an album by Gary Lucas' Gods And Monsters band, recorded in concert in 2006.
The recording kicks off with a raw version of 'King Strong', Gary's take on Frank Zappa's 'King Kong'.
Different versions of 'King Strong' could already be found on other albums but I love this take.
The other tracks are a bit calmer, but they all have Gary's guitar on the forefront.
Superb show. Excellent band.
