The wondrous voice of Lisa Popeil can be heard on FZ's 'Teen-Age Prostitute', taken from the Dec 11, 1981 Santa Monica concert where she also sang 'Lisa's Life Story' and 'The Dangerous Kitchen'.
'Lisa's Life Story' later found it's way to the final Stage album.
In 1983, Lisa released her only solo album, entitled "Lisa Popeil", that featured Steve Vai as special guest.
'Primo Man' was the single that was taken from this album: 7" and 12".
It only came to my attention recently that she released another single in 1984. A 7" that presented a new track, 'Poor Connection', on both sides.
In 1985, Lisa released another single.
This one was called 'Sittin' On A Rock'. I haven't been able to find an actual copy of this, or even any info about a release, although it can be found on several digital platforms.
Here's Al Yankovic's tribute to Lisa's father, with Lisa on backing vocals, 'Mr.Popeil' :
In 2016, Lisa joined The Banned From Utopia for a concert at the ZappaUnion Festival in Oslo, Norway. Additional clips can be found on YouTube.
