Gore Slut's "Live And Intoxicated At Nandrin 1997" got released on cassette in 2017. Strangely enough, I received a message only yesterday that I could listen or download the digital version from Bandcamp as well. Can't remember if I already received this digital version earlier, or if it's really new.
Anyway, an excellent reason to give this another listen.

Here's the story, as mentioned on Bandcamp:
Founded in 1992, like so many heavenhotel bands in the cellar of heavenhotel, the house where Rudy, Jacki and Bassie lived.
First record released in 1996 (These Days Are The Quiet Kind). Followed by a second in 1998 (Above The Lisa Drugstore). Third and ‘final’ one in 2001 (Girl + Turtles).
Gore Slut played traditional alternative guitar rock in the style of Dinosaur Jr, Yo la tengo, Sonic Youth, Jonathan Richman and Motorpsycho. Dark and introvert lovesongs, covered in a wall of noise.
This could have been where the story ended, but Heyme Langebroek of Kiss My Jazz was clearing his loft and found a dusty box of CD’s containing this live recording from 1997. He sent the box to Andrew from the sychophantic sympathetic UK Belgian friendly label Jezus Factory. After being blown away by several of the contents he messaged the ever busy Rudy Trouvé and he said ok to a co-release with his own label Heavenhotel.
A limited cassette of 100 copies and unlimited download felt like the way to go and what follows could be the first in an archive release series of classic heavenhotel bands…
