Another radio show bootleg has been announced : a box entitled Live In Europe 1967 - 1970.
It's a semi-official release because the shows were once broadcast on the radio. The Zappa Family Trust doesn't own the rights but the radio stations do. Or did.
As a result, there's some sort of unclear loophole that's being used by dodgy record labels. The result is that no-one knows who actually owns the rights, so it's almost an official release.
And it can be distributed through official channels. You can find these releases in regular record shops.
To make it worse, these 'radio show bootlegs' do not use the original tapes, so the quality isn't what it could be...
It'll be out as a 6 LP and as a 5 CD box set.
The LP box will be on orange vinyl.
