"Vidcast" series are produced and directed by veteran music journalist, occasional record producer, and cloud-platform technologist Chris Hoard. It's a first in a series of "vidcasts" featuring master musicians from the "jazz-rock" era still influencing upcoming generations of innovative musicians into the present day of the new millennium. The planned two-part "Voices Electric" documentary will feature interviews Hoard has conducted with the jazz-rock era's most influential and accomplished master musicians who practice "genre blending" – jazz, rock, prog, R&B, electronica, hip hop and beyond. Upcoming vidcasts from Voices Electric Productions started with Soft Machine, and future episodes will feature interviews with Lenny White, Allan Holdsworth, Brand X, The Miles Electric Band (Darryl Jones and Vince Wilburn), Billy Cobham, Thundercat, Peter Erskine, Brian Auger, Kamasi Washington, Stick Men (Tony Levin, Markus Reuter, Pat Mastelotto), and many others.
