Michael League : Snarky Puppy is a large band (you probably know this already). We have members from 5 continents who have lived very different experiences, each with a unique perspective based on where they come from and what they have seen. Given what is happening right now in our country (and consequently in different ones around the world), I thought it would be a good thing to bring the members of the band together to have a candid conversation about race and what can be done right now to help in creating a more just and equitable society. We will be joined by Dr. Kimani Nehusi, Professor of Africology and African American Studies at Temple University. Regardless of where you stand on this issue right now, I think it will be a good thing to hear what the members of the band have to say. We hope you can join us.
