DON PRESTON - BERKLEE COLLEGE OF MUSIC PRESENTS DON PRESTON CLINIC

Ten years ago, former Mother Of Invention, Moog-pioneer and jazz and rock musician and composer Don Preston did a clinic at the Berklee College Of Music.
At the time, the lecture got recorded.
A couple of weeks ago, Don made this recording available on DVDR (in a nice package, see picture above).

As for the recording, it's not a multi-camera, professionally shot recording, but it's pretty decent. Image quality is great and the sound is excellent as well.
The lecture itself is great. Don talks about the approach to composing. How he does it and how other composers that he worked with did it.
Great stuff.
While lecturing, Don gives examples on the piano and on the moog, performing some original material, plus some pieces or parts of pieces by Carla Bley, John Cage and Frank Zappa.
This is superb.

Thank you, Don, for making this available.
