Last year, DC-Jam Records re-released two more Rudy Schwartz Project albums.
"Salmon Dave" was made available as a download-only album, "Don't Get Charred" was also published as a CD.
This is Joe Newman / The Rudy Schwartz Project at his best.
Originally released on CD by the Musical Tragedies label, it has been made available again by DC-Jam Records.
The album includes a fabulous version / arrangement of Frank Zappa's 'The Black Page'. If I'm not mistaken the Meridian Arts Ensemble recorded this arrangement as well.
Another essential album.
