The Klanggalerie record label has already added their latest Residents release on Bandcamp.
"The Way We Were (Expanded)"
by THE RESIDENTS
The Way We Were was a short retrospective tour by The Residents, consisting of five performances in three cities at the What Is Music? Festival in Australia. This short touring performance began March 4th and ended March 12th 2005.
Shortly after the tour ended, The Residents released a CD and DVD set, Klanggalerie are now proud to present you an expanded version of the album with an 80 minute bonus disc of rehearsals for the show. These versions often differ from the ones performed and also includes Guylum Bardot which didn't make it into the final show.
Out on 2 CD & Bandcamp.
Soft Machine / Soft Works's "Live In Tokyo" is up on Bandcamp.
Recorded in Tokyo in 2003, and it's indeed hard to imagine that these guys are no longer with us...
Indonesian guitarist Dewa Budjana's "Zentuary" album got released in 2016.
Excellent fusion, featuring TONY LEVIN - GARY HUSBAND - JACK DEJOHNETTE - DANNY MARKOVICH - TIM GARLAND - GUTHRIE GOVAN - SAAT SYAH - UBIET - RISA SARASWATI - THE CZECH SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA.
I was too late to order my copy at the time (and the album sold out) which resulted in me having a completely battered digipack / second-hand copy.
But the music is great. Check it out at:
