TAROT

TAROT was first formed way back in 1984 when the 4 very young Brits met and went out creating havoc on the Southern gig circuit with their own special brand of Rock. They gained some success and were able to build a loyal following at their many live shows.

However, the band split at the end of 1990 and all went their own seperate musical ways.....until...... In January 2025, after a break of some 35 years, the original 4 members of TAROT (Mcinnes, Snelson , Hills & Benfield) reconnected to start work on an all new album featuring some of their 35 year old originals plus new songs written in 2025.
(And, yes, that's Mark Mcinnes that you should know from his Zappatika project.)

All songs are written & performed exclusively by TAROT.

TAROT has its own eclectic take on Rock Music drawing on the bands' collective Musical experience to create a unique "Tarot-sound". That album 'TAROT - Volume One' is now very near to completion & will be released early 2026 (approx.March 1st) ,with the first single 'Seppuku' coming as soon as November 2025.

More info soon.

MARCO BERNARD - MOBY DICK

  • Marco Bernard: Mody Dick
        (2025, 2cd, Finland, Seacrest oy)
Bass player and founding member of The Samurai Of Prog Marco Bernard released several solo albums.
His recent “Moby Dick” 2 CD set presented his Prog concept "Moby Dick"(CD1) and a bonus CD "Undercover Deux" (CD2) - featuring Marco's favorite covers.

Both CDs were inserted into the triple fold-out sleeve as separate albums, both in a separate cardboard sleeve.

CD2, the “Undercover Deux” album included Marco Bernard’s versions ‘Uncle Remus' (Duke/Zappa), next to 'In The Dead Of The Night' (E.Jobson), 'Race With The Devil On A Spanish Highway' (A. DiMeola), 'Good Times Bad Times' (Page, Bonham, Jones), and more.

"Moby Dick" (CD1) is a fine prog album, but I really enjoyed listening to "Undercover Deux".
Great.

THE CHEMISTRY SET

The cult London psychedelic scientists have quite a history…founded by Dave Mclean and Paul Lake in 1987, The Chemistry Set's discography now stands at 54 releases and, since their comeback in 2008, every single and album have 'sold out' on release. For some inexplicable reason, they’ve given Fruits de Mer exclusive rights to pretty much everything they’ve released since they got back together – in fact, we created the ‘Regal Crabomophone’ label specifically for the band; this is their new single...

Here's what the band sounded like in 1990 (!!)

DEWA BUDJANA - ZENTUARY

  • Dewa Budjana: Zentuary
        (2016, 2cd, --, moonjune / favored nations)

Indonesian guitarist Dewa Budjana's "Zentuary" album got released in 2016.
Excellent fusion, featuring TONY LEVIN - GARY HUSBAND - JACK DEJOHNETTE - DANNY MARKOVICH - TIM GARLAND - GUTHRIE GOVAN - SAAT SYAH - UBIET - RISA SARASWATI - THE CZECH SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA.

I was too late to order my copy at the time (and the album sold out) which resulted in me having a completely battered digipack / second-hand copy.

But the music is great. Check it out at:
