by Yamasuki
Originally released in 1971, "Le Monde Fabuleux Des Yamasuki" is being re-issued on the Sdban Records label.
Formed as studio experiment rather than a touring group, Yamasuki emerged in 1971 as the brainchild of Jean Kluger and Daniel Vangarde. With high-energy choruses, childlike vocals and dramatic martial arts-inspired shouts, it fused bubblegum pop with global rhythms in a way that felt bizarre yet ahead of its time. Later, it became a cult name whose influence later resurfaced in modern pop culture.
