A couple of days ago, we went to see Nicolas Mortelmans' Space Quartet in concert. The final concert of their club tour, for which they had invited Tarang Poddar (tablas) to join the quartet.

It was a fine concert (despite the disturbing cloud of incense that was hanging in the room) and I brought home Nicolas' latest album, "Space", his second album.

Recorded with a slight different line-up but with a strong focus on the sitar, "Space" offers 6 fine pieces. Improvised music with an Indian injection.
