The (Norwegian) Frank Zappa Society was responsible for publishing "Society Pages", a fanzine that eventually counted 48 issues between 1980 and 1988.
The organisation also released a number of specials: one about bootlegs, one about the different line-ups of The Mothers and Zappa's bands, and also one entitled "The Frank Zappa Society's Story Of Frank Zappa And The Mothers Of Invention".18 chapters, totaling 80 pages on FZ, his band, the labels, and more. In Norwegian.
I found a copy of this booklet in a Dutch record store.
