Next to their impressive albums (most of which have been recorded live in the studio), Snarky Puppy makes most of their concerts available as downloads.
One of their next scheduled concerts, however, will also be released on CD and on vinyl.
On a 2CD set, and on a 3LP set, to be more precise.
It will be the November 14 concert at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
I'll catch them a little earlier in Eindhoven (NL).
Three-time Grammy winners Snarky Puppy will be recording their debut Royal Albert Hall show on 14 November, produced by live recording specialists Live Here Now, formerly the live arm of Abbey Road Studios.
There will be an expanded line up performing specially for this night to celebrate our first ever performance at this world-famous iconic venue.
In a first for the band, there will be an exclusive CD version available on the night. The full multi-channel recording will be mixed live on-site in a fully spec-ed Outside Broadcast Audio Truck and will be available to fans as they leave the venue. Limited to just 1000 CDs and 500 prints, these are exclusively available from the Hall’s webshop and at the show itself
