Earlier this year, the city of Ulm (in Germany) hosted an exhibit of Bruce Bickford's artwork, curated by Tommi Brem.
It took place from March 11 until June 18 at the City Hall.

Publisher Topalian Milani released a beautiful catalogue to accompany the exhibit.

Not only does the book present a couple of nice articles and interviews (both in English and in German) plus excellent samples from artist's career, but it's also a very impressive publication: 100 pages, bound, superb pictures on beautiful paper,...

Good news from the publishing company.
The Bruce Bickford exhibition catalogue (for his expo that is running in Germany right now) should be available to order from June 21 onwards.

Regarding the Bruce Bickford expo in Ulm, Germany, I received the following reply from Tommi Brem :

 The catalog is currently with Bruce to give his OK on the images used, then it can go to print.

So for those of us who, for one reason or another, won't be able to visit the expo, the catalog is in the works...

In 2015, Tommi Brem contacted animator extraordinaire Bruce Bickford about exhibiting his works at the Stadthaus Ulm. Forward to March 2017, the exhibition opened on March 10th, attracting over 1,000 visitors in the first four days and being featured in major German television networks.

Since everybody here at the publishers love Bickford's work, we planned on having a small publication about Bickford, accompanying the exhibition. Since people have been repeatedly asking about a full-fledged exhibition catalog, we have decided to oblige.

"Mr Bickford Discovers a New Land" an exhibition catalog for the exhibition of the same name, on show at the Stadthaus Ulm until June 18, 2017, published by Topalian & Milani. Release date: 2 May 2017. ISBN 978-3-946423-98-0

Bruce Bickford is best known for his claymation work and animated performance in Frank Zappa's movie "Baby Snakes".

2004 saw the release of "Monster Road", a documentary about Bruce Bickford by Brett Ingram & Jim Haverkamp. The documentary was made available on DVD in 2006.
In 2008, a collector's edition of "Monster Road" got released, and the same year "Promotheus Garden" was made available as well.

Earlier this year, Leisure Class Productions released Bruce's latest production: "Cas'l' ".
