PoiL and Junko Ueda continue their collaboration on "Yoshitsune".
Earlier this year, PoiL and Junka Ueda released "PoiL Ueda", preceded and followed by some extensive touring in Yurip.
I might not have caught them in concert, but I consider "Poil Ueda" one of the top albums of 2023.
And now there's "Yoshitsune". Even more clashing and energetic than it's predecessor. And it works. Mesmerizing melodies, powerful polyrhythms.
