Robert Jon & The Wreck's brand-new album presents the southern rock / blues rock band in top shape.

The band is touring at this very moment and performed in Belgium, Germany and The Netherlands the past couple of days.
If I'm not mistaken, they'll be playing at the Dutch Bospop festival today. That should be a lot of fun.

"Red Moon Rising" is one fine album. The energy matches the artwork of the album cover.

REVISITING CIARDELLI, DRAGO & STRANO'S "SHAKE YOUR DUTY" ALBUM

Revisiting this fine album by Valentina Ciardelli (double bass), Anaïs Drago (violin) and Riccardo Angelo Strano (countertenor).

I mentioned "Shake Your Duty" a little while ago already, but I'm happy to mention it again as it is an amazing collection of beautiful tunes, including several Frank Zappa pieces (arranged by Valentina).

FRANK ZAPPA SPOTTED ON THE ARTWORK OF GOWY'S "TOURCOING JAZZ FESTIVAL" ALBUM

Frank Zappa can be seen riding a horse (or was it a pony?) on the cover of Gowy's "Tourcoing Jazz Festvial" album.

Beautiful instrumental guitar-oriented rock.

The album is available through Bandcamp for download & streaming, but it also exists on CD (in a signed and numbered edition of 100 copies.)

SUN RA'S PINK ELEPHANTS ON PARADE GETS A DIGITAL RELEASE

Record Store Day 2024 saw the release of  Sun Ra's "Pink Elephants On Parade".
On pink vinyl.
By the Modern Harmonic record label.

As expected, the album was made available on Bandcamp (digital download & streaming) earlier this week.
Not unexpected.
And I wouldn't be surprised if it would also get a standard vinyl release and/or a CD version...
