ITALIAN COMIC BOOK ARTIST GIPI
MIKE MILLER
I first heard of Mike Miller when I noticed his name on some of the Fowler Brothers albums.
Must have been late eighties or early nineties.
Around the same time, Mike toured and recorded with The Band From Utopia.
He's been on the UM-radar ever since.
Mike released his first solo album, "Save The Moon" in 2001. On the Marsis Jazz record label.
Instrumental pop/jazz.
With three additional tracks !!
So if you're looking for this album, go for the German edition ! (or for both)
In 2004, Mike released "Two Guys From South Dakota" in collaboration with Bruce Arnold.
And 2008 saw the release of the excellent "World Goes Round" by the Mike Miller Quintet (with Walt Fowler, Albert Wing and Chad Wackerman).

Earlier this year, Mike released "Trust", but I'm not sure it's getting any Yuripean distribution as I haven't been able to find it on this side of the ocean (or custom border, if you prefer).

JENS HAGEN PICTURE BOOK
"Mach Mal Bitte Platz, Wir Müssen Hier Stürmen" (Make Way Please, We Have To Storm), is a picture book by photographer Jens Hagen.
Focusing on the period between 1966 and 1970, the book shows pictures that Jens took of rock stars that visited Germany.
There's two nice sets of pictures of FZ & The Mothers in the book.

Punk Legend Gibby Haynes Of The Butthole Surfers To Tour With The Paul Green Rock Academy Summer 2022
Punk legend Gibby Haynes of the Butthole Surfers will be touring with the Paul Green Rock Academy this summer!
This tour represents the continuation of the collaboration of Gibby Haynes working with Paul Green’s students that started in 2007. Back then Paul’s students were working with a lot of progressive rock artists, and he was worried they were only receiving one perspective on music. It turned out that Paul and Gibby had a common friend in Dave Dreiwitz (Ween, JRAD) who made the introduction. What followed was the best kind of rock and roll insanity, including a reunion of the Butthole Surfers for a European tour with Paul's students opening and augmenting the headlining set.
Since then, a tour of Gibby with Paul Green’s students has occurred every three years or so, always with mind bending results, including a legendary headlining set at the 2019 Meltasia festival.
This is the fourth time they have all gotten back together, and this tour features new original material that will be recorded and released after this tour.

JEAN-PAUL ESTIEVENART
Fifteen years ago, Belgian trumpet player Jean-Paul Estiévenart performed the music of Frank Zappa as part of The Wrong Object.
Since then, he recorded and/or performed with the Alex Maguire Sextet, Rêve d'Eléphant Orchestra, and Antoine Pierre's Urbex, but he also released two solo albums.
For those unfamiliar with Jean-Paul's solo projects, there are a couple of fine concerts to be found on YouTube.
