PIERREJEAN GAUCHER
Here are 10 minutes of rehearsal and concert snippets of the Pierrejean Gaucher Trio with the Orchestre d'Harmonie de Bourg en Bresse.

Ed Palermo says: "We start recording the new CD in a few weeks. I can't divulge THAT much about it, but it looks like it's going to be a 2-disc project. One disc Zappa, the other disc my original material.

FRANK ZAPPA IN A 1956 HIGH SCHOOL YEARBOOK
Recently offered for sale at ebay: a 1956 high school yearbook that included pictures of Frank Zappa.

"Frank appears in TWO great early photos!! The first shows him in the Orchestra sitting at the drums (his name is clearly labelled). The second is as a member of the Beachcomber (probably school newspaper) staff, again where he is clear and his name is in the caption. For both of these photos we have printed his name over his photo (this does NOT appear on the photos in the book.) "

He changed schools for the 56-57 and 57-58 school years to Antelope Valley and ultimately was given a diploma from Antelope Valley, which is where he met Don Vliet and moved on to the Blackouts etc. "

Ostbahn Kurti & die Chefpartie recorded Frank Zappa's 'Bobby Brown' in the early ninetees.
The track got released on two different CD singles as 'Bertl Braun', and on the "A Blede Geschicht" album.
The same track also found its way to a Ostbahn Kurti promo, and to at least 4 samplers.

Anne Frank Zappa is a Dutch garage punk band. (from Rotterdam)
They released a 7" EP in 2010 in a limited edition of 300 copies.
Besides the band name and the cover of the 7" EP, there's no actual musical link to Frank Zappa.

UK jazz rock band Led Bib is back with a new album. It's their second one on the Cuneiform label. Again, the band will suprise you with their angular melody lines, their powerful approach and their out-of-the-box improvisations.
This definitely is my favourite album of the above mentioned threesome.
