I've been looking forward to this recording: FZ & The Mothers at the start of their career.
From the present perspective, that is. The band, at the time, was already around for a number of years and had already recorded some amazing albums.

I'll be enjoying this in pieces, with a break between them in order to avoid any mental fatigue or overload.
Halfway disc one at the moment and I love what I'm hearing.
Ray Collins on lead vocals, FZ giving some info between the songs, a nice balance between classic Zappa tunes, group improvisations, and some great doo-wop.
