"Mad Dogs & Englishmen" was a 1970 American concert tour led by Joe Cocker and featuring a massive entourage of musicians, singers, and other hangers-on. This tour resulted in a live album and a concert film of the same name, both released in 1970 and 1971, respectively.
The project, masterminded by musical director Leon Russell, was a significant event in rock and soul history, capturing the raw, gospel-tinged energy of Cocker and the large, eclectic band.

In 2015, the Tedeschi Trucks Band (TTB), featuring Leon Russell, original Mad Dogs members, and guests, revived the "Mad Dogs & Englishmen" tour at the 2015 LOCKN' Festival.
And now, finally, there's the album.
The below video mentions :
Video footage from the documentary "Learning To Live Together: The Return of Mad Dogs & Englishmen".
